Posted by Will Franklin · 25 March 2005 10:02 PM CommentsI wish I could be ignorant enough to not know how wrong the decisions of Judge Greer have been... The old cliche" IGNORANCE IS BLISS", Is really hitting home hard !!!! It must be wonderful to be able to ignore and to not consider that one might be WRONG. I believe I would remove myself from this case if I Knew I HAD TAKEN A CONTRIBUTION FROM " Michael Schiavos" ATTORNEY!!! I believe that to be a huge conflict of interest. Judge Greer should have removed himself knowing this! Not to mention the conflicts of interest Michael Schiavo has himself! Posted by: Zsa zsa at March 26, 2005 08:28 AM DISABLED FLORIDA WOMAN IS SENTENCED TO DEATH BY THE STATE OF FLORIDA, UNDER THE RULING OF JUDGE GREER! HER CRIME IS QUALITY OF LIFE IS NOT UP TO SNUFF, ACCORDING TO HER HUSBAND, WHO HAS CREATED A NEW COMMON LAW FAMILY, EVEN THOUGH PARENTS WANT TO CARE FOR THEIR BRAIN DAMAGED DAUGHTER! HEAR SAY EVIDENCE IS BEING STATED AS FACT, IN ORDER TO END HER LIFE. JUDGE GREER HAS RULED TERRI SCHIAVO WILL DIE OF STARVATION AND DEHYDRATION! MICHAEL SCHIAVO CONTENDS THIS IS A FAMILY MATTER EVEN THOUGH TERRI'S FAMILY HAS BEEN UNABLE TO DECIDE ON ANY DECISIONS FOR THEIR DAUGHTER! MICHAEL SCHIAVOS ATTORNEY GAVE CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTIONS TO JUDGE GREER, YET JUDGE WAS NOT REMOVED FOR CONFLICT OF INTEREST... Posted by: Zsa zsa at March 26, 2005 02:22 PM WE now have a right to die? I thought dieing was one of those things we eventually are going to do whether we like it or not? Apparently we won't be needing that living will either...I guess this means we have the right to kill as long as the individual can't speak for themselves, and we can get a judge to agree our quality of life is not worth living...I love the idea of getting to starve and be dehydrated until I am dead too!! HMMMMmmmm....Does this mean we don't have the right to live, if we don't have a living will? I am confused... Posted by: linda at March 26, 2005 04:23 PM what a world, what a world...I'm melting...I'll get you my pretty! Posted by: wicked witch of west at March 26, 2005 05:29 PM I would be arrested if I didn't give my dog food and water and let her die of dehydration and starvation. Posted by: Sandie at March 26, 2005 06:07 PM Well, you know you are doing something right when little kids are getting arested! Even her parents are now telling everyone to go home, leave Terri alone and let her die in peace. Posted by: Sean at March 27, 2005 12:36 PM let these people kill terri in Peace !!!!Go on home... Posted by: monika at March 27, 2005 06:49 PM I can't imagine if that were my special little guy how cruel it would be to have to be strip searched and not be allowed to visit my child without a armed officer ready to arrest me! If this is truly a family matter? Why is her family being ignored and treated as if they are outcasts? WILLisms.com please shed some light on this! Posted by: Marge at March 28, 2005 07:39 AM Take a hike Mike...man, you couldn't do this to a cow! What a CONTROL FREAK!!!! Posted by: Bart at March 28, 2005 07:43 AM The right to die is not the issue here... She has never had the document that would entitle anyone to have this inhumane act to be carried out. This seems to be an individuals desire to assert his control over not just this family but an entire nation! These decisions on Judge Greer's part are barbaric. I appreciate WILLisms.com for allowing me to express my views. Thank you. Posted by: Lisa at March 28, 2005 07:56 AM Defending this particular lady's rights are a lost cause! Obviously this case will not go away after Terri's execution is carried out! Hopefully Judge Greer, Michael Schiavo and his attorney will be investigated and prosecuted... If no further action is taken I really believe our system of justice is terribly blind. Obviously the eyes of justice need to be examined and given some corrective lenses! Posted by: zsa zsa at March 28, 2005 09:41 AM I'll get you my pretty... and your little dog too!! Posted by: wicked witch of west at March 28, 2005 09:48 AM MMMM... pork chops! DAO! Give terri somemething, mmm feeding tube mmmm... Posted by: Homer at March 28, 2005 12:41 PM
That Congress, Governor Bush and President Bush did not carry out their right (I believe) to protect an innocent victim from starvation at the hands of a judge's questionable decision, more than disappoints me...it disgusts me. The future right to life of all of us is now in jeapardy. The right-to-die proponents must be fought or euthanasia will now be added to abortion rights. And what's next? Back in the 50s a nun in high school warned us of the slippery slope that could occur. Her predictions were right on target. From abortion, we will go to euthanasia, etc. Posted by: Joanne at May 23, 2005 02:08 AM |
