« Trivia Tidbit Of The Day: Part 35 -- Sun Exposure. | WILLisms.com | Reminder Of Light Blogging. » Some Call It A Bonfire/Carnival Of Classiness. We call it "Classiness, All Around Us."
In no particular order, WILLisms.com presents classiness from the blogosphere (truncated version for this light-blogging week):
Blogs for Bush notes that, based on intercepted correspondence, the terrorists in Iraq seem to have low morale.
Marginal Revolution examines the six million dollar turtle, noting that engineered gadgets may be able to help certain animals overcome their failings. Very interesting stuff.
Captain's Quarters blog looks at how those who live in glass houses should not throw stones. Democrats, facing a certain boomerang effect, may live to regret their attacks on Tom DeLay. 4. PoliPundit looks at the numbers on America's gay marriage backlash. 5. Patterico's Pontifications examines the big media lie on judicial filibusters.
Also, don't miss this week's Bonfire of the Vanities, at File It Under.
February 8, 2005; February 16, 2005; February 18, 2005; WILLisms.com offers a classiness roundup as a weekly feature, every Tuesday, with 10 posts deemed classy. We love to spread the word on upcoming blogs, being that WILLisms.com also fits that description. If you would like to nominate a post on your blog or another blog for inclusion, email us at WILLisms@gmail.com. Write "Classy Nomination" in the subject. At some point in the future, we're also going to introduce a roundup of lameness, which will provide examples of shrill, angry, extremist, anti-American, self-loathing, intentionally misleading, and other unclassy posts from blogs. Again, email us at WILLisms@gmail.com to submit nominations. Classy. Posted by Will Franklin · 3 May 2005 12:37 PM CommentsThe Blogs For Bush was an interesting rather wierd read! Terrorists are obviously doing these things in the name of allah, but with a misguided reason for acting out these suicide bombings no matter what they are trying to get anyone or themselves to believe! Posted by: Zsa Zsa at May 3, 2005 04:28 PM I was just over at Captains Quarters on how people who live in glass houses story!...It really is no wonder Tom DeLay has pushed for further probing into the investigation!...Those Dems. they will try anything even if it harms themselves. Of course they try to act like Republicans think of themselves as perfect, which is clearly not so. But it is apart of the Democratic liberal song and dance to say we are "The Party Of Jerry Falwell" I am a conservative Republican and I really don't think of myself as a member of "The Jerry Falwell Party." It just so happens he prefers my party compared to theirs! Can we Help it if the Democratic Party has become a Socialistic, do nothing bunch of duds? Posted by: Zsa Zsa at May 3, 2005 05:08 PM WILL: Marginal Revolution examines the six million dollar turtle, noting that engineered gadgets may be able to help certain animals overcome their failings. Very interesting stuff. Way to miss the point! The main idea was to use gadgets to overcome our MORAL failings. Because humans are willing to torture chickens, hens, cows, pigs, ducks and other critters we like to raise on farms so we can eat their corpses, animals suffer enormously. If you could wire something into a chicken's brain so that she feels pleasure, even though she's being tortured, that would be an improvement over the status quo!
