Hate Mail Time.
It's Hate Mail Time!
I get the occasional hate mail and hate comment (like this one, a while back), and usually I just ignore them, but this one was just too absurd not to share.
It's pretty weird, it's got some rough language, and you may feel dumber for having read it, so read on at your own peril...
From: john snyder
1. What website is this guy reading, anyway? Because it surely is not mine.

That email = not classy
He apparently mistyped the email address.
Posted by: Hoodlumman at September 27, 2005 10:48 PM
I mean, what a weirdo. It startles me that someone could get so worked up over one of my graphs or something that he would dash off that email. There are some odd people out there.
Posted by: Will Franklin at September 27, 2005 11:03 PM
Will, I've admitted my jealousy of you in the past, but now you're just rubbing it in. I STILL have yet to receive my first hate e-mail.
That being said, I suspect with the decided lack of specificity, it was a "form letter" some dip (probably a high school or college student) whipped up and mailed to a bunch of conservative-leaning blogs. It's got that "flavor" to it -- you know the one, the "didn't I toss out this milk two weeks ago?" sensation.
Or maybe that's just my envy speaking.

Anyone who is filled with so much hate like this person is, should take time out to take a look at the words he used and think instead of speak! If this guy would practice listening and quit talking it would do him well... That is really sad! This person is obviously very unhappy and needs to find some kind of peace of mind! Very, very sad!

Boy Bands are out of style? Damn.

I agree w/ JT. It's probably a form excrement with BCC'd email addresses to conservative sites.
Posted by: Hoodlumman at September 28, 2005 08:31 AM
Let's hope that's all it was.

Im with Jay Tea on this one (form letter) but it's still nice to visualize some psycho frothing at the mouth banging out that email. I had no idea that your blogging brought out so much passion in people Will. Emails like that make us wish we could be a little more anonymous in this medium.

He sent another email. I am not going to post it, though.
Posted by: Will Franklin at September 28, 2005 12:10 PM
This is the 90's. Boy bands are in!...Don't worry Ian! Will didn't know what he was saying...
Posted by: Zsa Zsa at September 28, 2005 12:52 PM
Where does this guy come from? Didn't Rita wipe all the racists off the face of the earth? (wishful thinking on my part) Take your pill John. Before you have a heart attack or stroke or worse!

I am shocked that Jay T. has not recieved hate mail... He gets some strange comments sometimes!
Posted by: Zsa Zsa at September 28, 2005 02:15 PM
Personally, I like whaet bread. Rye, it's ok. Pumpernickle is too grainy. Wheat, especially Mrs. Bairds, is the best....
Hey, wait a sec, did that guy say 'You are brilliant my man.' ?!?
I hate kiss asses like that.

Hey, Will, they're onto us!
I guess we'll have to fax the boys at the RNC and the rest of the right-wing bloggers and let them know that next week's cross burning is cancelled!
Damn! I just got my hood and sheets back from the dry cleaner's, too! Doggone liberal ruined everything! They're just too darn smart for us...
