« 'Silence Can Be A Weapon' | WILLisms.com | Is The New York Times A Pack Of Treason Weasels? » Israel May Topple HamasIsrael has vowed revenge if 20-year-old Israeli soldier Gilad Shavit, kidnapped by Palestinian terrorists of the Popular Resistance Committees, is not released. The Israelis may exact a huge price: "We will make sure that the Hamas government ceases to operate if the kidnapped soldier is not returned to us alive," the source told AFP on condition of anonymity.Shavit was abducted Sunday from a remote military post near Gaza. Israeli troops are massed along the border in response to the kidnapping. Update: Israeli military forces have now entered Gaza. Posted by Ken McCracken · 26 June 2006 07:32 AM CommentsAh, it is so refreshing to see a government with balls. Perhaps Israel will act before the New York Times prints a story containing their attack plans. Hmmm, 'twould be good to sic the Israelis on the NYT, eh? Posted by: Da Coyote at June 26, 2006 09:49 AM ^LOL^ Posted by: christian at June 26, 2006 10:11 AM I keep wondering why they don't tell them the same thing for the next rocket or next suicide bomber... Posted by: bullwinkle at June 26, 2006 08:48 PM The only thing good about the NYT's is the crossword!...That is it. Posted by: Zsa Zsa at June 26, 2006 09:29 PM If only Isreal could have gone after Saddam for the SCUD missiles he lobbed on them in Gulf War I. We were like a security guard on the Jerry Springer Show holding Isreal back. Just one time I wish that we would let them stop saying "Oh, no he din't, oh no he din't" and step across the damned line and bitch slap the entire middle east. Last time, it lasted, what, six days? It is about time for another six days of bitch slapping for Iran. Let Isreal deal with North Korea too. Posted by: Justin B at June 26, 2006 10:53 PM Heheheh, well I cannot but be impressed with Israel's military prowess - but I think even North Korea might be a little bit beyond their reach literally and figuratively. I hate to say it, but I am always hoping for a showdown between the Israelis and the Philistines, just to get this stupid thing over with. Posted by: Ken McCracken at June 27, 2006 12:38 AM more like israel vs the entire middle east. and don't think the billions in bribe money the US gives to Jordan and egypt mean they won't help. Posted by: lester at June 27, 2006 01:41 PM Don't worry Lester, the arab states have never done a damn thing for the Palestinians and they aren't going to start now. Posted by: Ken McCracken at June 27, 2006 01:57 PM ^LOL^ Yep and actually they are trans-jordanian not palestinian, that is the name the media gave them back in the day and it stuck, ever wonder why the palistinian flag and jordanian flag are identical? No, didn't think so, hurts when you do that thinking thing huh. And as you can imagine, Jordan has thrown open the door to these refugees..........not. Posted by: christian at June 27, 2006 04:19 PM we'll see Posted by: lester at June 27, 2006 04:21 PM Wow lester look! Egypt is massing troops on its border to prevent palestinian refugee's from fleeing into egypt. I think you said "we'll see." Indeed. Posted by: christian at June 28, 2006 12:40 PM You revolt against your own government and engage in what is essentially treason, and the countries that said they would support you with killing the Jews abandon you? I only wonder how bad Jordan and Egypt want their asses handed to them again. I really seriously wish that we would stop keeping Isreal from letting Iran and the rest of the Middle East "push them into the sea". Hamas made a huge mistake in kidnapping those Isreali kids. And if Hamas cannot control Palestine and the militant wings of Hamas attack Isreali soldiers in Isreal, that is an overt act of war. Now the ass kicking is on and it just a matter of seeing who wants the Jews to kick their ass again. The over-under is six days. Posted by: Justin B at June 29, 2006 03:01 AM |
