Bush: We Coulda Shot That Sucker Down

. . . well, what he really said was "I think we had a reasonable chance of shooting it down, at least that's what the military commander has told me," regarding North Korea's recent (abbreviated) missile tests over the Sea of Japan.

Meanwhile, a North Korean spokesman says that they consider any sanctions in the wake of the missile tests as an "an act of war" and that "North Korea will launch a missile at any country that joins such a resolution."

Hmmm - I've heard a lot about how this missile system as well as the patriot system has been a total failure, granted it has been from chirping liberals calling into the "neo-con" radio talk shows.

I know that there's been a lot done with the RADAR detection for artillery, so hopefully this will help with the anti-missile defense.

Or maybe I don't know and don't want to tell you I don't know.

Classic Bush - how can anyone hate this guy?

we'll see. This is why 6 party talks are so critical. If China goes along, NK wouldn't even think of launching a missle at them. And if japan gets hit, oh boy watch out. this is getting interesting.
