Sunday Night Heidi Weimaraner Update: 9 Months Old.

Little Heidi Franklin is growing up.

We bought her this little red backpack to slow her down a tad bit, and to make her carry her own load somewhat when we go hiking and such.

It looks like she's on her way to her first day of school.

But wait, there's more....

At 9 months old, she's now over 50 pounds. She's not going to be one of those huge Texas-sized Weimaraners:

And yes, that's the mysterious and powerful Will sitting there behind the hat and sunglasses:

Yay for America's somewhat hidden natural gems, and for getting to the top of them:

Heidi, fortunately, still doesn't mind getting up on my shoulders:

Mostly, though, Heidi loves to track things and point them out to us:

She still loves that camera:

Previous update.

Yay! A Heidi update! It's been 'WAY too long! ;)

I'm sure she's proud as heck to wear that backpack... makes her look very, well, fetching. Does she bring it to you for you to put it on her? I'll bet she does. Better than an ol' bandana anyday. I wonder, though, if it really slows her down at all.

(Also, it looks like you could use one or more of these:

Where did you take those pics, Will?

She is such a good girl. I love that close up. I need that on a WILLisms.com T shirt!*** She really is a good Republican.

She looks like she really likes her backpack? What a funny little girl... I miss her.
