Heidi is beautiful. Forbes is really cute. Good for you Zsa Zsa. We just got back from the lake with Scruffy and my Heidi. They love it there. Scruff Dog will jump into the water from the pontoon but Heidi is content to just bask in the sun.

Nice looking dogs. A little time in the pool sure keep 'em from chewin' on stuff. Wears them out. Probably barely could whimper on the way home.

Forbes loves to surf! He is so funny about the raft... He goes for his first doctor visit today. I hope he doesn't cry. He really misses Heidi.

I just went swimming for the first time with my German shorthaired pointer this weekend. He's six months old. After jumping right on top of me (scratches!), he kept swimming right up to me. I didn't know if he wanted me to take hold of him, swim alongside of him, or let him rescue me (he did grab my wrist a few times). Can't wait to try it again.

I do own a cat, Mister Willford(22 pounds, looks like a Bobcat,) a Manx. His only redeeming attribute is that he thinks he is a dog. And I do think he is a democrat, lays around all day doing nothing, turns up his nose at treats unless it is cheddar cheese, and obeys none of the house rules.

EB...Have you tried swiss cheese? OR is he just partial to cheddar? That is too funny! HA... I had a horse once who thought he was a cow.

Both my cat and my chug will only eat cheddar, they sniff the swiss cheese, turn up their noses, and then stare me down for some cheddar.

I can give the chug cheddar but Mister Willford will hack up cheddar cheese in five minutes.

Actually, when I toke possession of Mister Willford, the lady I got him from swore it was a female. I named the cat Thelma Lou, because I prefer female animals.

It became apparent after a few week weeks that the cat's budding manhood forced me into an appropriate gender identity. Therefore, Thelma Lou quickly became Mister Willford. I had to take the cat out for a night on the town and offer an apology for my mistakes.

Mister Willford did undertake any secret sexual reassignment, I forced him into it. I guess in the world of sexual assignments, he is now officially classified as None.

AaaaH... Poor guy! BUT it is actually the kind thing to do. It is so sad to see all the cats and dogs that are put to sleep each year... He basically got a vasectomy. Forbes will be going in for one of those in the near future.
