« Should We Believe Petraeus . . . Or MoveOn.org? | WILLisms.com | September 11, 2001 - A Day That Lives In Infamy » Even John Kerry Annoyed By 'Betray Us' AdVia HotAir we find that John Kerry, incredibly, is criticizing MoveOn's ridiculous 'Betray Us' ad. Kerry called the ad "over the top" [ed. - ya think?] and I dont like any kind of characterizations in our politics that call into question any active duty, distinguished general . . . who I think under any circumstances serves with the best interests of our country. When you've lost Waffles, you know you're in trouble. Posted by Ken McCracken · 10 September 2007 06:29 PM CommentsEven Blind Harry Reid sought to distance himself from the MoveOn ad. But, like Kerry, this was after the radical group did the Dems dirty work for them. The question is whether the Dems will return MoveOn money. Of course, there's no chance that Democrats will return the money, indeed they can't, which means they'll be put in the position of having to defend their deep association with a radical and libelous fringe group. If they return the money, they'll alienate and anger the nutroots who claim to own the Democratic Party and who's self-assessed greatest accomplishment is driving Senator Joe Lieberman from the party (though ironically not the Senate.)
