Carnival Home Base:
Just A Few ThoughtsStop using the term 'pro-war'. Unless, of course, you actually like war you sick SOB. Use the term 'pro-victory' instead.
Also, don't use the term 'jihadist' either. That is what the terrorists like to think of themselves as, they like the term and think it is admirable and honorable. Use the term 'Qutbist' instead. Here's why, according to the Militant Ideology Atlas:
Label the entire Jihadi Movement “Qutbism” in recognition that the Jihadis cite Sayyid Qutb more than any other modern author. Muslim opponents of the Jihadis (including mainstream Wahhabis) use this term to describe them, a designation Jihadis hate since it implies that they follow a human and are members of a deviant sect. Adherents of the movement consider “Qutbi” to be a negative label and would much rather be called Jihadi or Salafi. Calling the movement “Qutbism” would also remove potentially offensive words from the lexicon of public officials (like “Islamofascism”) and disassociate the movement from Islam.Another good term to use is 'takfiri' to describe those who target innocent Muslims.
Takfir, 'the practice of declaring that an individual or a group previously considered Muslims are in fact kafir(s) (non-believers in God) or excommunication for those who reject Islam.'This is not to be done lightly, as it is forbidden in the Koran:
O ye who believe! When ye go abroad in the cause of God, investigate carefully,
and say not to any one who offers you a salutation: "Thou art none of a
believer!" Coveting the perishable goods of this life: with God are profits
and spoils abundant. Even thus were ye yourselves before, till God conferred
on you His favours: Therefore carefully investigate. For God is well aware of
all that ye do. (An-Nisa:94)
Take that, you takfiri-Qutbist jerks!

Sounds like a good change. Even if it doesn't fully catch on, it's a victory if 10% of the American people can at least recognise the term and what it means.
Can you give us a preferred pronunciation? Kootbist? Kutbist?

KUT-buh-ist, as far as I can tell.
Lawrence Wright, author of The Looming Tower (highly, highly recommended) pronounces it more or less like that.
Good enough for me.

I like the idea, but "takfiri" is easier to pronounce. Enjoy the company of Iblis, you takfiris!

I disagree with you many times, but you seem to have a thirst for knowledge. Why do you post at SayAnything? That place is like a locker room.
Perhaps you, like me, are drawn to look at it, kind of like a train wreck.
