Of course, after the war, the Germans were our enemy for only 2-3 years until we needed them to be our friend again in order to fight our new enemy, the Russians, who used to be our friend, sort of, but who suddenly were no longer acting very friendly towards us, especially in Berlin.
Iraq used to be our friend in the 1980s, sort of, because they were fighting our enemy Iran who used to be our friend until the Shah was deposed. Then Kuwait was invaded so Iraq was now our enemy. Bush invaded Iraq hoping to make them our friend again so we can fight Iran, who is still our enemy, but so far Iraq is not being very friendly.

On the contrary, the government of Iraq is being friendly, but the imported "insurgents", who are stoking the sectarian violence, are not.

OMG, Are you serious?
Sure there are a lot of foreign Muslims fighting in Iraq, but that is not the main problem. Look at the recent surge action in Anbar province, where success has been reported as a result of convincing the local Sunni leaders to stop fighting the US and start fighting Al Qaeda. The majority of the violence in Iraq is being caused by Iraqi Shia fighting Iraqi Sunni, and both groups fighting the US at times. Consider all the problems caused by al Sadr, who is an Iraqi Shiite leader, not al Qaeda. Bush flew over to Iraqi two weeks ago, but did not even go to Baghdad to see our supposed friends.

Your job in America.
Someday the American people may be cured of their disease.. The world conquest disease.
You will not ridicule them. You will not argue with them. You will be aloof, watchful and suspicious.

Hey there Jorge!
If Americans are engaged in world conquest, we sure are doing a crappy job of it. I mean, we pay through the nose for oil, even though we rolled over Saddam Hussein and the Iraqi "Army" with ease. When oppressed brown people ask the US to leave--we leave (case in point: the Philippines). After winning WWII, most American troops went home, and eventually, every single country we conquered was restored to full sovereignty.
So tell us--just where is this American Imperium, anyway?
