In a tragic turn of events, Greek-American Paul Thymou (C), who was fighting for Lesbos islanders' rights, was brutally murdered by Lambda Legal Fund representative Leslie Ironwood-Colepersyn (R), who saw his banner, and, moments later, strangled him with it.
